Last summer, SMEs from five European countries were able to submit a proposal in the European Horizon 2020 project ACTTiVAte: pAn-European Clusters for Technology Transfer and new VAlue chains. Out of a total of 124 (complete) submitted proposals, the 50 best were selected earlier this month. Ten of these are from Dutch companies:
- EyeSense Solutions
- Happy Workwear
- IXL Netherlands
- Noldus Information Technology
- Sense Health
- Totem Open Health
- Viridian Raven
The other projects come from Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Poland. All selected projects are on the website of ACTTiVAte.
The top 30 best project proposals will develop a prototype of their innovation within a year. The entrepreneurs receive a subsidy of € 46,000 for this. They are also supported with an investment readiness training and individual business coaching.
ACTTiVAte stimulates technology transfer between sectors. It concerns crossovers between the sectors Aerospace, AgriFood, Health and / or ICT. Each project focuses on the development of an innovation service or product - which contributes to the economic development and strengthening of European value chains. The Dutch partners in ACCTiVAte are AgriFood Capital, Oost NL and Wageningen Economic Research.
